Hi, I’m Stefania! I provide therapy for people who are looking for a safe place to heal from trauma they have survived. Trauma comes in all shapes and sizes. "Small t" trauma includes more subtle but painful experiences—like repeated criticism—that can shape how we see ourselves, impact our emotional well-being, and affect our relationships. "Big T" trauma refers to deeply distressing or life-threatening events, such as abuse, serious accidents, or natural disasters, that can overwhelm our ability to cope and leave lasting emotional wounds. Both types of trauma can leave us with anxiety, depession, relationship struggles, and more.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful approach that helps people process and heal from both types of trauma. One of the amazing things about EMDR is that it allows us to take small breaks from our "thinking brain" so we can connect with and heal the emotional parts of ourselves.
I am truly honored to do this work and to walk alongside those who are courageously facing their healing journey.
